After a fantastic presentation and excellent scientific discussions, Naba Abuhafez successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Sustainable Transformations Enabled by Homogeneous Metal Catalysis: From Ligand Control to Weak Interactions”, which took place on December 1st 2023 at the Rennes Institute of Chemical Sciences in the Univesity of Rennes. She is the third PhD student from the group.

Thanks to the jury members Matthieu Raynal (Sorbonne University), Marine Desage-El Murr (University of Strasbourg), Sophie Guillaume (University of Rennes), Raphaël Tripier (University of Brest) and Julio Lloret Fillol (ICIQ, Tarragona) for accepting to be part of it and for the insightful questions. Naba has played an important role by developping innovative catalytic procedures with cobalt, palladium and ruthenium. We all wish her all the very best in her future.
